Michael Arnold will join North Carolina’s Office of State Budget as Management as Deputy Director of Operations/Chief Operating Officer

Bob Coats, North Carolina’s State Data Center Coordinator and Census Liaison, has been reelected to chair the nine-member Steering Committee for the US State Data Center (SDC) program. Mr. Coats will serve a one-year term as chair. This is his second term as chair of the committee.

North Carolina state government’s first philanthropy liaison will join Governor Roy Cooper’s administration on March 1.

North Carolina’s State Demographer, Dr. Michael Cline, has been elected to the Steering Committee for the Federal-State Cooperative for Population Estimates (FSCPE). Dr. Cline is one of four FSCPE Steering Committee members elected by their colleagues from across the nation.  

Charlie Perusse, State Budget Director of North Carolina, has been recognized for his years of service promoting performance-based, results-driven management in government with the “2020 Harry Hatry Distinguished Performance Management Practice Award.” The award was presented by The American Soci
